Agency Board and Standing Committees

The governing Board of the Central Connecticut Regional Planning Agency (the "Agency") and its Standing Committees (the Comprehensive Plan [CPC], and Program, Finance and Personnel [PFP] Committees) meet in the same location on the first Thursday of each month, except during the July and August summer recess.  The CPC, and the PFP Committees meet at 7 PM; the Agency Board meets at 7:30 PM.  Meetings are held in the Agency offices in Bristol, except that the April and October meetings are held at a location in one of the member agency jurisdictions (selected on a rotating basis in alphabetical order), and the December meeting is held at a dinner location selected by the Agency Board Chair.  Meeting dates for 2005 are:

SPECIAL COMMITTEES

Transportation Improvement Committee (TIC) - starting in January the TIC meets every second month on the last Thursday at 9 AM in the CCRPA Offices.  In 2005 the TIC will meet on : March 31    May 26    July 28    November 17

 

Economic Development Alliance (CCEDA) - starting in March the CCEDA meets quarterly on the second Monday of the month at noon in the CCRPA Offices and in 2005 will meet on: March 14    June 13    September 12    December 12

In addition, the Agency sponsors meetings of the executive officers of each member jurisdiction (the “Ad Hoc Council of Governments”).   This group meets biannually in May and November at noon on the third Wednesday of the month with meeting locations selected prior to the meeting in alphabetical order by town. In 2005 they will be held on May 18 in New Britain, and November 16 in Plainville.

All meeting dates, times and locations are subject to change due to weather or other special conditions, so please contact the CCRPA offices if plan to attend one of these meetings to confirm the schedule.
